Farid Nazifi

Interdisciplinary Visual Communication Designer, Researcher, and Multimedia Creator

My name is Farid Nazifi, an interdisciplinary visual communication designer, researcher, and multimedia creator whose academic and professional journey has spanned Iran, Ukraine, and Germany. My work exists at the intersection of visual culture, migration studies, digital media, technology, political communication, and contemporary identity formation.

Early Life and Education

I was born in 1994 in Mashhad, Iran, a city whose historical, cultural, and spiritual landscape deeply influenced my understanding of memory, identity, and visual symbolism. My educational journey began in the field of Experimental Sciences, where I completed both my secondary and pre-university education.

This early scientific background cultivated my interest in analytical thinking, scientific inquiry, and the relationship between human systems and technological structures.

Visual Communication Studies

In 2018, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication (Graphics) at the Ferdows Institute of Higher Education in Mashhad, Iran.

During my academic studies, I developed a strong foundation in visual storytelling, graphic design, motion graphics, communication theory, digital imaging, and interdisciplinary artistic practice.

My undergraduate education shaped my understanding of visual communication not merely as aesthetic production, but as a language capable of interpreting social, political, and cultural realities.

Studies in Ukraine

In 2019, I relocated to Kyiv, Ukraine, where I began studying Informatics, expanding my interests toward information systems, digital technologies, programming logic, computational thinking, and the interaction between humans and technological infrastructures.

Simultaneously, I pursued English language studies at the Cambridge Institute in Kyiv, further strengthening my international academic and professional capabilities.

Migration to Germany

The outbreak of war in Ukraine profoundly altered my personal and academic trajectory. Following forced displacement, I relocated to Germany, where I rebuilt my educational and professional life through continuous learning, adaptation, and cultural integration.

I successfully completed the official German Integration Course and obtained the German Language Certificate (B1). Furthermore, my Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication was formally recognized by the Free State of Saxony (Freistaat Sachsen), enabling me to continue my academic and professional development within Germany.

Professional Experience

Beyond formal education, I have gained practical experience in management and entrepreneurship.

Since 2017, I have served as the Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Farsh Ava Sazan Hamrah Shargh, a private company active in industrial technologies, software systems, production, consulting, and international trade related to the carpet industry.
